The ocean needs your brain power!

What?

The OceanLove Innovation Award (OIA) aims to push forward ideas with potential to restore, sustain and/or protect the oceans. The Award challenge is open for people from all kinds of backgrounds, from all over the world. The ideas that are sought after, are early stage innovations, from motivated people that in potential could make a real impact on ocean sustainability (SDG 14) and even strengthen local communities.

The year 2024 featured the first edition of the OceanLove Innovation Award. This yearly challenge is open to everyone with an innovative idea for a product or campaign that can better protect our oceans. With funding, media outreach and backing from experienced social entrepreneurs, the winning idea will then be supported in bringing it to fruition.

Check this video about the first OceanLove Innovation Award Event, organized June 19th, 2024 in the Fokker Terminal, The Hague (The Netherlands).
