Indigenous and traditional seafarers and aquaculture practitioners (aka navigators) are experts in managing ocean resources. But we are not financially compensated or treated as such. In return, we are disproportionally being hit with climate disasters.

Create a Pacific-wide network of Indigenous and traditional navigators that come together in solidarity for: work exchanges focusing on biocultural restoration, education that advances navigator skill sets, on-the-ground navigator-led disaster relief, and policy changes that create sustainable green jobs for Indigenous navigators to manage ocean resources.
