My proposal focuses on addressing the critical issue of carbon dioxide accumulation in the ocean, which leads to ocean acidification and harms marine ecosystems.

Development of synthetic seaweed through advanced materials science techniques. By leveraging bio-inspired polymers and nanomaterials renowned for their CO2 adsorption properties, non-toxicity, and durability, I aim to create seaweed duplicates capable of surpassing their natural counterparts.
